about

"Totem Dada" is partially inspired by the imagery of the Salish Sea region, in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. and Canada. However, the track is truly a global collaboration. The poem is by Olympia, Washington-based writer Lost in a State (aka Matthew Peipert). Signal Box (aka Robin Anthony Coe), a Brit residing in Tokyo, combines his guitar with the percussion of Octavio Salman, a Salvadoran living in Barcelona. U.K.-based Martin Cantwell contributes his production skills, while American artist Ben Peipert (residing in Taipei) provides the vivid cover art and You Kyoung Jung (a Korean living in Olympia) assists with the cover design.
